Graphileon AWS editions
Graphileon on AWS
Graphileon editions are available on the Amazon Marketplace as AMIs (Amazon Machine Images). Use them to spin up Graphileon in your own AWS environment in minutes. The Graphileon AMI includes everything to connect to your existing graph database instances.
How to set up Graphileon on AWS
Scenario 1 (simple case, using Neo4j)
Scenario 2 (on AWS and another cloud, using DataStax)
Requirements
What you need to have and need to do for a quick and successful setup, is explained in our documentation.
The AWS contract
All editions are subject to this contract.
The Graphileon Editions
Since each situation has its own requirements with regards to functionality, we offer eight editions, each with a specific audience in mind.
Except for the Personal Edition, all editions are available with or without the YFilesView. It is based on yFiles for HTML and offers advanced layouts and data management functionality. The editions with YFilesView have a -yfv suffix.
Personal edition (aws-pe)
A good starting point for users with a need to manage data in their personal graph database. It comes packed with a library of functions, large enough to get inspired to build your own applications.
Consultant edition (aws-consultant & aws-consultant-yfv)
An increasing number of organisations use graph technology as (part of) their information systems. If you are a consultant, this is the right choice when you want to rapidly create convincing prototypes or proofs of concept.
Team edition (aws-team & aws-team-yfv)
When your work requires to manage a graph database with a couple of persons, the Team edition is the best. It allows for a higher number of dashboards, so that each team member can have his/her own.
Company edition (aws-company & aws-company-yfv)
Companies with a wider range of graph applications should choose this edition because it comes with Permissions management, a higher limit for data stores and the possibility to link to the in-house authentication systems.
Enterprise edition (aws-enterprise & aws-enterprise-yfv)
This is the “unlimited” version, ideal for larger, international organisations with many users and/or a variety of graphy applications.
Development edition (aws-development & aws-development-yfv)
If you want to develop your own, Graphileon-based applications and distribute them, this is the edition for you. It allows you to export the entire application to a file that can be imported in the Runtime or Runtime Plus edition.
Runtime edition (aws-runtime & aws-runtime-yfv)
The Runtime edition allows you to import and run an application that was built using the Enterprise or Development edition. This edition has limitations set by Graphileon in terms of users and functionality.
Runtime plus edition (aws-runtime-plus & aws-runtime-plus-yfv)
The Runtime Plus edition allows you to import and run an application that was built using the Enterprise or Development edition, without any limitations set by Graphileon.
Please refer to the tables below to learn which features are available in each edition.
