Although Graph technology is relatively new, its potential has already been widely acknowledged by specialists in various domains. Our consulting partner Semantic PDM, specializing in graph-based product information systems for the manufacturing industry, is using Graphileon on a daily basis to develop insightful data- and process models. These models are then used to define a whole range of applications that run on Graphileon and can be deployed to specific groups of users.
The design of the applications follows our paradigm : the application is a graph. As a result, they can be deployed and tuned easily, by modifying the functions and triggers to specific customer requirements.
Schema- and Databuilder
The Schema- and Databuilder is a powerful tool. Besides creating and documenting a datamodel in one go, it also creates a schema that defines dynamic data-entry forms.
Management and versioning of product breakdown (bill of material)
A product breakdown structure is a graph by nature. The manager that was designed in collaboration with Semantic PDM allows users to compare between (timestamped) versions, as well as fast look-up of components.
Term and translation manager
The term and translation manager allows organisations to maintain a library of terms that are allowed to be used in all forms of communication.
The application supports a role-based creation and approval process, and provides a direct link to a so-called networkview to browse the graph store starting from a term or translation.
Image manager
The image manager allows organisations to maintain a library of images that are allowed to be used in all forms of communication.
The application supports a role-based creation and approval process, and provides a direct link to a so-called networkview to browse the graph store starting from an image or image variant.
In addition, new types of transformation can be created.
Advanced text editor
The Graphileon Markdown editor allows users to edit text blocks in WYSIWYG or Markdown mode.
The editor supports calls to the internal Graphileon API, which allows for dynamic (e.g. retrieved by means of a Cypher query) content to be displayed.
